About the Studio
Just outside the walls of the city of Heraklion, lies ΣΙΤΟΣ.
ΣΙΤΟΣ or SITOS is a food styling & photography studio and at the same time a living experience space where people cook, taste, learn and connect. It can host photo shoots - private dinners - workshops - tastings - cooking classes & many more experiences.
SITOS studio is devoted to the art of food styling and visual storytelling. We collaborate with food brands and culinary creatives to craft images and experiences that stir the senses — before the first bite is ever taken.
Its name comes from the ancient Greek interpretation of the term sitos (wheat), where in addition to wheat, it also meant food.
For me, food is creation.
It is memory, sharing, meeting.
It is the reason why people gather around the same table.
Wheat is the basis of nutrition.
Before bread, before the plate, before the image, there is SITOS.
